People, before you even read my research of how enzymes in our human body help me digestion, let me ask you: do you even know what are enzymes?
Enzymes are are large protein molecules that cleaves, cuts or eats specific pre-designated things. You can describe them as Pac-mans with shark-like teeth. Depending on the programming of their teeth, the enzymes fit over certain substances like a piece of a puzzle, cutting through the specific type of thing. And luckily, it only cuts through the exact thing, for example a protein, and it will leave other similar proteins alone.
Enzymes are important as they are "bio-catalysts", which means they speed up the action of chemical reactions. Without enzymes in every cellular event that takes place in our body, the chemical reactions within us would be so slow us living right now would be impossible.
And also, in our bodies, there are more than 3000 enzymes, and most of them are proteolytic enzymes. And these 3000+ enzymes can create up to 25000 chemical reactions! These 3000 enzymes themselves are created due to either our own enzyme production, or from ingesting enzymes from our live or uncooked food.
Ok, i will stop right here for this post because there are just too much to be covered for enzymes.
